The Chancel Choir
They lead our weekly 10:30 Worship Service on Sundays as well as services on Christmas Eve and during Holy Week.
This ensemble rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and open to all adults without audition. Even if your claim to musical fame is only to sing in the shower, please come join this loving community. These joyful volunteer musicians enjoy fun and fellowship as they sing Classical, Broadway, Folk, Jazz and some original pieces written just for them. Most importantly, they share their Christian love by coming together in community.
The Handbell Choir
They meet on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm and perform once a month during worship service as well as for special services. Handbell experience is not necessary but the ability to read music is helpful.
Bradenton Community Fine Arts Concert Series
First United Methodist Church presents an exciting concert series in a beautiful historic space with great acoustics. Professional groups performing classical, opera, folk, jazz, and more.
Parking is available in the church parking lot and the city parking garage across the street (free on Sunday). Doors open one hour before the concert.
No tickets, a love offering will be taken.
