Youth Ministries

Currently at First United Methodist Church, our youth ministries includes 6th - 12th graders.

Our group is motivated to do God's work and impact those whose lives we touch through action and prayer. We come together at least twice a week to pray for each other, support each other and stay connected as the body of Christ. We are strong in our faith and first to ask God for His help. For we know it is only through Him that we are able to reach out to those who may step into our path.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song." Psalm 28:7

Sunday Night - Bible Study

Youth are invited to our Sunday Night Bible Study at First United Methodist Church from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. This is a weekly gathering for fun and the study of God's Word. We start off our evening with games, then fellowship over a light meal prepared by the loving hands of our parents. We continue on with our worship through songs prepared by the youth and begin to turn our attention to God's Word as we explore the wonders of the Gospel and the impact it has made on our life and on the lives of those around us.

 

Life Studies

Wednesday Night "Life Studies" is up and running.................During the month of March we will learn to love others God’s way, look for His call on our life and get in shape for a summer of serving Him. This mid-week lesson is a time for us to catch up with friends and support our spiritual relationships with one another. Wednesday nights for our whole church have become an "OASIS" and the youth group is loving every minute of it. We are soaking up the "Son" and enjoying the cool refreshing splash of God's Word. Study times are from 6:00 - 7:15 PM in the Youth Room on the second floor.
