Sunday School

All Sunday School classes being at 9:05 AM and 10:30 AM  The 10:30 AM class for children 6-10 is held in the chapel.   Remember to bring your child with you to Church.  Remember: They can't come unless YOU bring them!!!!

We have two (2) Sunday School classes for young people.  Ann Day currently teaches the toddlers class and she does an outstanding job!  We really do need a person who is willing to give Ann a Sunday off now and then (Maybe even once a month).  We also need three (3) people who are willing to give one Sunday morning a month during the 9:05 AM service to teach the children's class.  Finally, we need at least two people willing to volunteer one Sunday a month at 10:30 AM to lead our Children's Church.

As you can see, we are attempting to maintain a rotating schedule for teachers.  This assures that no one experiences "burn out" and it also provides a network of people to bounce off ideas.  We have been given an awesome responsibility.  Our children need to hear the Word of God in a way that speaks to them at their levels.  We are currently using some wonderful curriculum from Group Publishing called "Faith Weavers".  This curriculum expertly "weaves" the weekly Bible principle into every aspect of the Sunday and Wednesday night programming.  From snack time to the Sunday morning Children's Church message, the Bible theme for that week is being taught.

We are currently using "Faith Weavers" for every child at our church from nursery age through 5th grade.  We have committed to provide rock solid Biblical teaching for every single person in our church.  This can't happen without you!

Please take this into prayerful consideration.  In your daily time with the Lord, ask Him if you are one of those being called for one of these positions.  Your payment will be plenty of hugs and smiles!!

 

 

Pre-School Children
Our pre-school Sunday School class has gotten under way and I am pleased that several of our families and guests have brought their children to attend.  Mrs. Ann Day is the teacher and the class meets in the Basement Level in Room 1. 

Elementary School Children
Our Elementary School class also has plenty of room for growth.  Our children from 6 - 10 years of age meet upstairs in the Children's Wing.  On the first Sunday of the month, the children are in the chapel to receive Holy Communion.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is provided for newborns to toddlers in Room 28.

There are classes for single moms and singles or couples each Sunday.  Each month there is a planned Children's activity.  There are Wednesday night activities for the whole family so come join us! Thanks.
